Blattner Energy is committed to providing no- to low-cost healthcare benefits to our employees and their families. Our plan is 100% premium-paid for employees and offers comprehensive coverage from a nationwide network of quality-care providers. Coverage includes:
- Major medical care, physicians services, chiropractic care, physical/occupational therapy, mental health care, hospitalization (inpatient and outpatient), and emergency services
- Routine vision exam
- Prescription drug coverage
- Routine wellness benefits:
- Child Coverage: Preventative care services including doctor visits, developmental assessments, laboratory charges and immunizations

Blattner Energy offers a comprehensive individual employee or family dental coverage plan.
Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance
Blattner Energy provides 100% premium-paid Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance to all employees.
Short- and Long-Term Disability
Blattner Energy provides short-term disability coverage at no cost, ensuring you and your family will be protected in the event that you are unable to work due to personal illness or injury. Eligible employees may also enroll in a long-term disability plan.
Retirement Savings Plan
Blattner Energy offers a 401(k) retirement savings plan and will match a portion of your weekly contribution up to the first 6%. Matched contributions are vested on an annual schedule with 100% vestment after four years. The plan offers easy web and telephone access, comprehensive annual reports and retirement planning tools.
Flex Spending Account
Employees have the option to participate in a flexible spending account, which allows you to set aside a portion of your weekly salary, pre-tax, to pay for qualified health care and/or dependent care expenses.
Blattner Energy observes six national holidays as well as two additional days for Thanksgiving and Christmas. In addition, every employee receives one “floating” holiday per year to be used at his or her discretion.
Blattner Energy is committed to all employees achieving a balanced and enjoyable life both on and off the job. Employees receive up to 15-20 days of paid vacation per year depending on their pay classification and length of service.
Paid Time Off (PTO)
Employees receive 6-8 paid days each year for personal time including vacation, illness, appointments or other personal matters. The number of days allotted, including the number allowed to accumulate from year to year, is determined by pay classification and length of service.
Employee Assistance Program
Our company-paid Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides employees and their immediate family members with a professional and confidential counseling service. EAP counselors are available to assist with personal, social, financial, legal or other human service problems that may be causing disruptions in life or in job performance.
Blattner Energy offers eligible employees the opportunity to enhance their professional skills and qualifications by reimbursing a portion of expenses incurred for continuing college and vocational school training.
Years of Service Recognition
Blattner Energy recognizes loyalty and length of service by presenting employees with an award to celebrate their contribution to the company. Awards are presented for the following milestones: 2, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30 years of service.
