Blattner Energy Announces 20,000 Megawatt Milestone

Blattner Energy announces its 20,000th megawatt of wind energy installed and under contract across North America. Officially announced at the American Wind Energy Association’s (AWEA’s) 2013 WINDPOWER Conference, the milestone is unparalleled in the industry and establishes Blattner Energy as the leader in wind energy construction across North America.

The 20,000-megawatt milestone encompasses more than 135 projects built across North America, including the five single largest wind farms built in the United States. The milestone is supported by the wind portfolio of Blattner Energy, its sister company, D.H. Blattner & Sons, Inc., and Canadian joint-venture operation, Borea Construction, ULC.
